Learning objectives (text)

The student has an in-depth knowledge about the artistic developments in Western Europe during the 19th century.

The student is able to situate, comment and interpret these developments and is familiar with the artistic canon of the visual arts and architecture of the given period.

The student knows how to handle the adequate art historicial terminology and chronology regarding the visual arts and architecture of the given period.
