Learning objectives (text)

Students:
- are able to expand and deepen the knowledge acquired in 3Ba Fashion, testing it against the social context;
- are able to reflect the independent research in the realisation of an innovative concept in a mature manner and proceeding from a creative personality;
- are able to apply their capacity for innovation in experiments and improvisations during the working process, thus defining and optimising their personal signatures;
- are able to situate their own visions on fashion in relation to the current artistic and professional context, valorising them through in-depth discourse and reflecting the conclusions in the creative Master project;
- are able to organise and realise all phases of the design process independently;
- are able to integrate their reflection on the preparatory research into a visionary Master project in a logical and innovative manner (The Master project reflects mastery of all basic elements and principles of fashion design. This is constantly tested through in-depth discourse with instructors and other professionals);
- are able to elaborate the degree project in 3D, applying all technical insights and modelling techniques that they have acquired;
- are able to realise a presentation installation using all of the graphic and digital insights and techniques that they have acquired;
- are able to propose a mature, artistic Master project through a presentation to a national and international jury.

Course content

- process reflection on the preparatory research in all of its facets (substantive, artistic and technical) into a collection of at least 12 total silhouettes;
- graphic, legible presentation of the collection image;
- elaboration of the concept: from 2D to 3D, with intense tutorials between student and instructor;
- design and elaboration of accessories;
- contemporary styling of the collection image;
- presentation of the individual working developments to the entire tutorial staff; reflections from this presentation will be integrated into the following working phase (3BA);
- final presentation of the collection on a professional level to an international jury representing the various disciplines of the fashion world;
- elaboration of a creative 3D installation defining this presentation;
- presentation of the complete collection image on the catwalk, with original makeup design, choice of models, accentuating music and lighting, along with proposed choreography and personal coaching of the models.
During the evaluation of the collection at the “final fitting (pas)” a selection is made by the jury members with regard to the presentation on the catwalk. A different style of presentation can be mutually agreed upon.
