3. Pathology, care and guidance
The student describes the gynecological disorders of vulva, vagina, cervix and uterus.
The student describes and recognizes the symptoms and pathological signs of the following systems; cardio-vascular, gastro-enterological, urological, immunological and pneumological system
The student defines the basic principles of clinical infectiology.
The student defines the causes, characteristics and risk factors of a pathological menopause
The student formulates points of attention and basic principles in assisting gynecological examinations and interventions.
The student formulates concrete lifestyle and dietary advice in pathological conditions: cardiovascular diseases, obesity, cancer and malnutrition
The student shows how a speculum is placed in order to gain samples for research.
The student recognizes the gynecological disorders of vulva, vagina, cervix and uterus including symptoms, causes and consequences
The student identifies the different pathological conditions of the female breast
The student explains the general concepts regarding the pathology of a human being
The student explains the course of the breast examination with attention to the experience of the patient.
The student applies the points of attention and principles of complex wound care to a practice-oriented case
The student explains the functioning and application of diagnostic tools within the pathology.
De student verklaart voedingsbehoeften en afwijkingen in het kader van pathologische toestanden: hart- en vaatziekten, obesitas, kanker en ondervoeding
