1. Physiology, care and guidance
The student defines the basic principles of pharmacodynamics
The student describes the consequences of exposure to teratogens (stimulants, ionizing radiation and chemicals) on the pregnant women, her unborn child and his later development and articulates adaptations for prevention
The student describes the process of pharmacotherapy during pregnancy
The student defines the possibilities for pain relief during labor and delivery
The student shows the different types of anesthesia, indications and risks
The student gives an overview of the classification of pharmaceuticals
The student explains the concepts of absorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination in all their facets
The student describes the concept of 'chirality'
The student describes the concept of mathematical pharmacokinetics
The student lists various types of (medical) resources that are covered during anesthesia
The student explains the basic principles of drug learning
The student expresses the influence of anesthesia on people in general and on the pregnant women in particular
