Learning outcomes (text)

The student
-Learns under guidance and partly independently how to find existing patterns , 'read ' and interpret them.
-Can choose a pattern by comparing existing patterns and by visualising the desired result.
-Can look up the proportions in a two-dimensional image and apply them to a three-dimensional image .
Can critically assess the completed assignment according to shape, alignment , volume, execution and finishing.
-Develops a constant alertness for innovations and changes within the technical framework of the field of study.
-Develops technical skills and knowledge.
-Executes his/her own design by deconstructing and analysing existing garments and by moulage or draping.

Learning outcomes (list)

BA1 - The student has the necessary artistic skills to design and/or realize a personal project within the broad spectrum of the visual arts under supervision.
The student can choose a pattern by comparing existing patterns and by forming an image of the intended end result
The student is able to realise his/her own design by analyzing and molding basic patterns of existing clothing.
BA2 - The student has the necessary knowledge, skills and insights regarding material, form, action, concepts, function and contents of the chosen medi
The student can detect relationships within a two-dimensional image and translate these into a three-dimensional image.
The student has developd his/her technical skills and knowledge.
BA4 - The student develops and sharpens his/her critical and investigative attitude towards designs and/or realizations that arise from visual experiments and research, emotion and intuition.
The student can critically assess the assignment (in terms of form, line, volume, execution and finish).
BA5 - When developing his/her personal visual language the students starts from a searching and reflective attitude when developing one's own visual language.
