Short description

In this course, student will gain insights in the instruments, methodologies and techniques, essential for planning, implementation and release of a successful ERP project. Different EIS systems and ERP systems in specific are covered. Based on examples, common business processes will be discussed, as well as related data and integrations across functional departments.

Course content

The student is able to identify relevant information systems and understands their characteristics and purposes.

The student is able to identify non-technical aspects and techniques required for planning and managing an ERP project. 

The student is able to explain the integration implications of ERP systems in function of the underlying business processes. 

The student has a sound business understanding of the cost structure typical for ERP systems.
