Learning outcomes (list)

Lab engineer - Job analysis and Planning Lab activities
clarifies instructions of enzyme definitions.
compares enzym kinetic analysis methods.
names the functions of the discussed metabolic pathways using their total reaction.
names sugars, fatty acids, nucleotides and vitamins using a given structure and vice versa.
calculates the efficiency in ATP of a given macromolecule in the general anabolism.
describes the most important chemical properties of sugars, lipids, nucleic acids and vitamins.
describes the role of cofactors such as, acetyl-CoA-SH, NAD+, NADP+, FAD within one pathway, as well as different pathways.
divides a given structure into a group and subgroup of different biomolecules (sugars, lipids, nucleic acids).
deduces the kinetics of enzymes.
predicts the enzyme kinetics based on related parameters.
Lab engineer - Processing and Interpretation
assesses analysis results of enzym measurements.
interprets the processed data in a broader context.
