Learning outcomes (list)

The student understands the different stages of the supply chain
The student has insight in the cost structure of ERP-packages
The student identifies the relevant EIS-systems and is able to reproduce their features
The student is familiar with non-technical techniques and instruments rquired for planning and implementation of ERP
The student describes the integration process between ERP-packages and the supporting business processes
The student clarifies advantages and disadvantages of ERP-packages relating to the individual business processes

Course content

This course allows the student to gather insights in the instruments, methodologies and techniques, essential for planning, guiding implementation and releasing of a succesful ERP implementation. Different EIS systems are covered and ERP systems in specific, where different relevant Business processes, their related data and integrated character across functional departements are explained.
