The student recognizes, defines a client with the specific psychiatric disorders in occupational therapy practice and relates the capabilities and limitations, using a systematic approach within the framework of an occupational therapy model.
BH3 Treats, assists and advices autonomously and goal focused during the occupational therapy process in order to achieve meaningful occupations and participation, and implements (inter)national occupational therapy theoretical concepts and models
Based on a case, the student formulates an evidence-based patient specific treatment plan, completed with a specific methodology ( therapeutic relationship, therapeutic situation).
BH4 Professionally develops and applies the creative and technical expertise, follows relevant technological changes to contribute to the occupational therapy profession.
The student knows, creates and shows concrete activities and methodologies to address the problems of the patient. Afterwards, he reflects on his therapeutic interventions.
C Is able to communicate qualitatively and to collaborate within an interprofessional team, in close partnership with the client and all stakeholders of the occupational therapy intervention.
The student communicates, collaborates and consults and is aware of his communication style and can adjust according to the ratio relationship-focused and task-focused. The student uses verbal and written communication professionally.
