Learning outcomes (list)

BH1 Functions as an occupational therapist in the national and international professional context in a changing society characterized by diversity, and uses professional reasoning throughout social, deontological and ethical aspects.
The student situates the cliënt in the Belgian and international health and social care and health insurance.
BH3 Treats, assists and advices autonomously and goal focused during the occupational therapy process in order to achieve meaningful occupations and participation, and implements (inter)national occupational therapy theoretical concepts and models
The student identifies the vision, mission and principles of occupational therapy.
The student schematically describes the main international occupational therapy (practice) models and describes the components and the consistency within each model.
Starting from the request for help, the student constructs a simple treatment plan visualizing the connections between the request for help and the client's occupational performance versus the obejectives.
BH5 Is responsible for the organization and execution of occupational therapy interventions in the complex and specialized professional context, using principles of management and quality control.
The student describes the characteristics of and need for management and quality assurance.
PO1 Applies an active and independent lifelong learning attitude for professional innovation and entrepreneurial behavior in a complex and specialized professional context characterized by societal and international changes.
The student attends the coaching moments well-prepared based on the syllabus.
PO2 Shows an active attitude for personal development and reflection, starting from principles of management and quality control
The student is able to evaluate his own learning process and performance and demonstrates an attitude of initiative and decisiveness
WH Applies evidence based occupational therapy practice and is able to implement scientific knowledge and skills in the participation of practice based research.
The student applies the principles of evidence-based practice in a recognizable and simple context.
