Prerequisites

Short description

“The future belongs to the curious.” This course challenges future media designers in visualizing complex information for different media. In this course, you will get an overall picture of all the aspects of crossmedia design and work with your lecturers to find your place in the professional field. The emphasis will be on UX & UI design, moving image, editing, 3D or any other focus they choose. We will tackle a crossmedia design problem as one whole project from conceptualization to presentation. In other words: Highly conceptual course, where a good sense of responsibility is required in order to work on the assigned project. Focus on individual input and own time and project management is an absolute necessity in order to succeed.

Evaluation (text)

PERMANENTAL EVALUATION WITH COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE because the competence-based learning processes with specific accents on skills training and attitude formation can only be acquired and evaluated within the set of education.

You can catch up with a maximum of 2 absences for the form of permanent evaluation and this only if it is possible from an organizational point of view. You take the initiative to plan the possibility of catching up with the lecturer within 3 calendar days after the missed evaluation moment (deadline assignment, portfolio, presentation, etc.). If catching up is not possible, this will result in a score of 0 for the missed evaluation moment.
In exceptional cases, the head of the department may deviate from this rule.

Submissions for assignments always consist of own work and are submitted within the foreseen deadlines. If ideas, images or texts, ideas, designs or parts of designs of others are used, the author, designer and/or location of the work must be clearly mentioned in order to avoid plagiarism - and thus exam fraud.
