Learning outcomes (list)

The professional bachelor in social educational care work independently assesses the possibilities and limitations of the client, in consultation with the client and his system and within the context of a team.
The student describes the possible influence of a psychiatrical problem/disorder on the various developmental and life domains in specific situations
The professional bachelor in social educational care work actively contributes (on micro-, meso- and macrolevel) to increase understanding and commitment concerning ethical, normative and social issues related to the profession. He acts in accordance to the universal rights and values.
The student places psychiatric problems in a social and cultural context
The student acknowledges the importance of a professional and empowering basic attitude and nuanced perception of people with psychiatrical problems/disorders
The bachelor in social educational care work adapts his professional agogical conduct by making use of critical self reflection, recent insights from scientific research and local, European and international evolutions.
The student describes the clinical picture, the characteristic symptoms,vthe progress, the prognosis, the comorbidity and differential diagnosis of the different psychiatrical disorders
The student explains concepts and the argumentation of the given theoretical and methodological frameworks and scientific knowledge
The student explains the care needs of people with psychiatrical problems as well as relevant support methods
