Learning outcomes (list)

Masters legal jargon in Dutch, French and English.
The student can name the sources of obligations .
Systematically makes use of professional business sources and critically interprets the derived information before acting upon it;
Student is looking for relevant legislation , doctrine and jurisprudence .
Understands law fields and aspects most relevant to the business world; he/she can resolve less complex practical problems within these fields.
The student applies his knowledge of contract law to a simple case study
Substantively supports the law professionals (bailiffs, notaries public, magistrates, barristers, solicitors,…)
The student can define the concept of tort and apply in a particular case .
The student can explain how obligations are extinguished .
Student is looking for relevant legislation , doctrine and jurisprudence .
The student knows the consequences of the contractual clauses and can apply these to a concrete example.
Provides first line legal counsel and assumes the legal interests of clients and principals in accordance with the profession’s deontological code.
The student can name who's responsable in which cases.
