Learning outcomes (list)

The student describes the climatic preconditions to which the building envelope is susceptible.
The student explains the heat transport through the construction parts based on the theoretical transport mechanisms.
The student calculates the course of temperature throughout a construction.
The student calculates the heath passage coefficient of parts of a building envelope and works out if these meet the legal EPB-demands.
The student explains the physical mechanisms which are based on the liquid transport throughout the constructions.
The student calculates the course of vapour pressure throughout a construction.
The student names the different sources that can be the cause of moisture damage in a building.
The student explains the physical causes of area condensation, names the construction technical consequences of this and formulates solutions to prevent the problem.
The student explains the physical causes of internal condensation, names the construction technical consequences of this and formulates solutions to prevent the problem.
The student explains the physical concepts in connection with the construction acoustics.
