Learning outcomes (list)

The student develops simple programs in different programming languages in accordance with the code of good practice for PLC controls
The student analyses the hardware configuration of a PLC system and correctly connects the electric components with attention to safety.
The student motivates the use of suitable I/O-cards using presupposed data in industrial installations.
The student describes the functioning of a simple PLC program by documenting it.
The student employs the specific expressions with regard to industrial robots, vision and RFID in a correct way.
The student looks up errors in the link between the PLC and the programming environment.
The student tracks in a structured way errors in a program.
The student localizes the process data through visualization on a HMI panel.
The student defines the possibilities and applications of PLC in industrial installations.
The student motivates the use of suitable I/O-cards using presupposed data in industrial installations.
