Learning outcomes (list)

The graduate possesses the knowledge that support the basic competencies for teachers and is capable of connecting contemporary social themes, creating challenging artistic learning environments developing new ideas for (art-) education.
The student can indicate relations between the physical, motoric, cognitive and social development of children, youngsters and adults.
The student can indicate how perception and attention are related to each other and can describe at least three implications in the field of education.
The student can discuss the different stages that Piaget used, in his own words.
The student can name teaching styles according to Kolb's model.
The graduate creates a positive climate for learning and living, and supports the broad personal, intellectual and social development of the learners via targeted activities and both formal and informal interactions.
The student can formulate in his own words what is meant with typical body proportions in the development of a child.
The student can describe the general traits of puberty in boys and girls.
The student can express the influence of insecure attachment and indicate points of attention to deal with it in an educational context.
The student can argue in which way the language of a child influences his or her thinking.
