Learning outcomes (list)

The graduate possesses the knowledge that support the basic competencies for teachers and is capable of connecting contemporary social themes, creating challenging artistic learning environments developing new ideas for (art-) education.
The student can describe the different aspects of temperament and clarify the difference with personality.
The graduate creates a positive climate for learning and living, and supports the broad personal, intellectual and social development of the learners via targeted activities and both formal and informal interactions.
The student can, for at least three domains, describe what a sensitive period is and in what way it is important for the development of the child.
The student can enumerate actions from teachers with regard to secure and insecure forms of attachment.
The student can reproduce and substantiate social-emotional conditions for learning as a process.
The student can articulate the main stages of average physical, motor, cognitive, moral and social development in children, adolescents and adults.
The student can correctly place a provided children's drawing in the drawing development and justify this choice using the correct terms.
The graduate communicates adequately with parents/ caretakers with diverse language backgrounds and stimulates the involvement and the co-developing of constructive strategies to support and stimulate the learning process of the learners.
The student can show how parents can pass on their own internal operating model to their children.
The graduate can autonomously, critically and reflectively unlock the available (inter)national research on an academic level in the domain of being a teacher in general and his/her discipline in particular.
The student can consult and apply suitable sources.
The student can explain 'theory of mind' and connect it to teaching visual arts.
