Course content

Research 2 focusses on the students own embodied artistic practice, but there will still be research content input in the beginning of module 2. This will encompass the digestion of content from Module 1 and expand the area of research to embrace two specific aspects: an emphasis on the politics of process and meta conscience of artistic codes, with the influence or effect on own practice; and in preparation for module 3, research projects that have collaboration as a central theme will be used for case study analysis. Additionally, the student will reflect upon the exchange of the developing artistic practice amongst peer artists and with the artistic field. The students will continue to reflect and challenge their research question as a result of the dialogue that took place during the residency. Their process will be documented in their portfolio. The Portfolio continues to be the container to reflect, develop, communicate and document in an articulated form upon embodied artistic practice in relation to the artistic field.
