Learning outcomes (list)

EM01: know-how / expertise
The student knows the basic principles of a three-phase star and delta load.
The student knows how various types of electric motors and transformers operate.
The student is able to predict the behaviour of resistance, coil and capacitor, both in a direct current and alternating current regime.
The student can identify a machine using identification plate data.
EM02: Installation
The student is able to regulate, start up various types of electric machines and put them into operation.
The student can, by thinking logically, independently create simple electic circuit diagrams and solve any problems (power failures).
The student can correctly connect and set up the used equipment by means of manuals and catalogues.
The student is able to integrate the different electric measuring devices in electric installations.
The student can correctly connect the machine using identification plate data.
EM06: founded choices
The student can, on the basis of current legislation and safety requirements and depending on the application, select the correct circuit breaker.
The student can make correct analyses using measurement data (power, power factor, tension, current,...).
EM09: communication
The student is able to report in a structured way on the realized test setup.
EM10: collaboration
The student executes the assignments through collaboration with the other team members.
The student communicates with the other team members to realize a collective group report.
