The student can link Lieder and opera texts to the music, keeping in mind the performance of the productions during the academic year.
2.1 The student masters the musical parameters and structures.
The student has knowledge of the theoretical background of opera and Lieder which are studied during the academic year.
2.3 The student reads, analyses, writes and interprets music.
The student can independently analyse Lieder and opera texts (which are studied during the academic year), and can interpret and express them to a group.
4.1 The student has knowledge of the broader cultural and (musical) historical context.
The student has knowledge of the historical background to the opera and Lieder (which are dealt with this academic year).
The student can situate the texts from Lieder and operatic repertoire (which are studied during the year) within an historical-cultural context.
The student can compare the texts from the musical repertoire with the literary source.
