The student knows the basics of stylistic standards.
The student shows a basic understanding of the internationally used stylistic standards.
1.4 The student is musically creative.
The student presents a portfolio in which the acquired learning outcomes are demonstrated using a quantity of works which has been agreed with the teacher.
2.1 The student masters the musical parameters and structures.
The student is confident with musical parameters (such as form, rhythm, melodic line, dynamics, articulation).
The student knows the musical parameters and gets incentive from the teacher to achieve basic harmonic understanding and analytical thinking skills.
2.2 The student makes progress through independent study.
The student makes independent use of analytical thinking skills.
2.3 The student reads, analyses, writes and interprets music.
The student is confident with various compositional forms.
The student knows the basics of Instrumentation/Orchestration.
2.4 The student masters the correct playing techniques and postures.
With coaching from the teacher, the student can apply the basic compositional, instrumentation and orchestration techniques and place these in an historic context.
