Short description

Based upon the standard work of Kotler, Principles of marketing, we introduce the students to the basics of marketing & sales. As a starting point we take the mission of every company to create durable value to his stakeholders in a challenging environment (with focus on consumers & customers). Furthermore we contribute to following marketing themes:

Company & marketing strategy
Analysing the marketing environment
Business buyer behaviour in a BtoB environment
Innovation & product development
Pricing strategy
Integrated marketing communication strategy

We invite students to participate in an active way through business cases. They work in international groups and present their group work during the course. The idea is to stimulate international exchange of knowledge & best practices.

To understand what marketing means in today’s economy
To be able to make and evaluate a basic marketing plan
To understand the different marketing tools available
