Short description

You will learn what it means to export a variety of goods to a far ( or nearby ) foreign country, whether in an EU context or beyond.
The approach is problem driven, a coach will guide you through the entire project.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Learning outcomes (list)

The student attends a professional conference/seminar within the context of logistics management
The student reports his/her assignment results in English
The student gains insight in the international aspects of the business (study related travel assignment abroad)
The student executes additional assignments within the context of a specific location
The student is able to work in team when composing an expedition file (import and export)

Course content

- Produce a complete set of shipping/forwarding documents for import and export activities related to a real business case.
- Attend a seminar organised by the logistics business world
- The project is meant for studies to apply the knowledge acquired in the course ‘transport economics’
- Produce a written report in English on the project results
