Learning outcomes (list)

The professional bachelor in social educational care work is able to build a professional relationship with the client and the client system in keeping with an orthopedagogical attitude, he takes care of this relationship and makes sure the relationship can be discontinued with care.
The student discusses the effects of what he has learned on his own frame of reference
The student discusses which method, technique, theory or tools he deems most useful for his future profession
The bachelor in social educational care work adapts his professional agogical conduct by making use of critical self reflection, recent insights from scientific research and local, European and international evolutions.
The student describes how he can implement newly acquired international content into practice
The student discusses which international orthopedagogical concepts or ideas are new or innovative to him
The student places the content of the international experience (international concepts, themes, innovative ideas, social educational frameworks, ...) in a wider socio-cultural and international context
The student starts from his own professional actions when describing relevant knowledge related questions he has, in order to build up his reasoning in a good way.
The student compares the various socio educational care work contexts at home and abroad in a nuanced way.
The student integrates the insights gained from the literature study and the international week by building up his own reasoning in the paper. At least 3 international, non-native language sources must be used (including at least 1 in English).

The assignment for the International Programme of Education and Social work in an international context is an individual paper (100%). In this paper you explore the socio-educational-care-work practise in several international contexts.
In this paper you have to use at least 3 non-native language sources. For the content- and form requirements concerning the paper, please consult the study guide.

7. Agreements on compulsary attendance:
All learning activities during the international week are compulsary.
The student notifies the lecturer of his legitimate abscence the latest on the day of his abscence and legitimates his abscence within 4 working days by uploading his medical certificate in Ibamaflex via the module 'mijn afwezigheden' (my abscences).
The student asks the lecturer for a replacement assignment for every legitimate abscence (go to the study guide for more concrete information).
The extent of the replacement task is dependant on the duration of the abscence.
The student takes the initative to ask for the replacement task per mail, at latest 1 week after the last day of abscence. If the student does not ask for the replacement task on time or doesn't complete the replacement task on time or correctly, then 2 points will be subtracted from the total score of the assigmnent.
With every illegitimate abscence 4 points will be subtracted of the total score for the assigmnent.
In the case of an illegitimate abscence of more than 3 learning activities, you will be appointed a 0 out of 20 for the entire course. In that case you're not allowed to turn in an assignment in the first exam period.

The paper of the first exam period is to be rewritten making use of the feedback of the first exam period.
This feedback is given to the student during the feedback moment of the first exam period.

In case the student was illegitimately abscence of more than three learning activities the student can ask the lecturer for a new assignment for the second exam period. Based on this replacement assignment the student can hand in the paper for the second exam period.
