Course content

With each new intake of students, the Masters programme will begin with an intensive exchange among the students, mentors and coordinator about the students‘ existing as well as envisioned practices.

During the intensive week, the embodied practice in a workshop environment will be informed and supported by contextualization of the subject to encourage and challenge personal perspectives.

Embodiment 1 will provide an environment for the group to develop a sense of shared embodied practice facilitated by a teacher, as well as differentiating and sharing the embodied practices each student brings in and/or wants to develop during their studies.

This course lays the foundations for identifying one’s embodied practices and habits and relating them to the ones of others. Students will try the practices proposed by the teacher and share their own practices and ideas with the others. Each student documents and reflects on the experiences and results of this workshop in a written and/or visual (drawing, photo, video) assignment. Its word count resp. exact form is determined by the teacher. This documentation and reflection will become part of the individual portfolios that each students starts in module 1.
