Learning outcomes (list)

BA2 - The student has the necessary knowledge, skills and insights regarding material, form, action, concepts, function and contents of the chosen medi
The student masters the technical basis and principles of the lithographic process, ranging from sanding the stone, drawing on the stone, preparing it, up to printing the created image.
The student masters at beginners' level the compositional, material-specific and content-related aspects of the graphic work.
The student masters chalk lithography, litho-touch and transfer techniques at beginners' level.
The student can, in order tot communicate visually a given theme, draw contentual and according to perception.

Course content

The technical aspect of lithography is embedded in this introductory part of the course. The drawing of an image on the stone and the preparation and printing are exercised. A number of simple lithographic processes are applied through the use of assignments.
