B2:. De analyse richt zich op de harmonisch meer complexe (functionele, tonale) jazzmuziek vanaf de jaren ’50 tot de hedendaagse uitdrukkingsvormen, en op modale muziek. Het kunnen reharmoniseren/harmoniseren m.b.v. meer complexe technieken: het kunnen harmoniseren van melodieën met diverse 5-part voicings incl. tensions.

De student kan 3-stemmige voicings zingen door een standaard akkoordenschema waarbij het dubbelen van de stemmen wordt vermeden.
De student kan complexe (functionele, tonale) akkoordenschema’s analyseren.
De student kan complexe (functionele, tonale) akkoordverbindingen stemvoeren
De student kan complexe tonale melodieën (re)harmoniseren.

1- 7 modes and their functions(in all keys)
2- 3 exceptions #IVø moll dur bIII º (in all keys)
3- Sequence of 12 chords =write a melody,analyse,which scale can u use?,change chords?
4- Analyse any basic standard (degrees,secundary dominants,)
5- All the different forms of Moll dur. Where does moll dur come from
6- Based on the moll dur explanation,give me a few keys we can modulate to.
7- Go through a progression using guided tones (no jumping)
8- Harmonize a melody. Using modes & exceptions
9- Sing basic guided tones progression
10- The different dominant scales.which, when and why.(altered & octotonisch & so forth…)
11- Different endings to a basic standard
12- Write a melody on a given chord progression.
13- Different form of turn arounds.
14-Be able to write a 3 voices harmony choir moving through a chord progression.Alway avoid when possible to double the voices.If you’re in charge of one the voice,be aware of what the other ones are doing.

Evaluatienormen: De student is geslaagd als hij/zij 50% van het totaal aantal punten behaalt.
