1. Pianistic skills (see B1): in B2, greater refinement is expected; more sophisticated use of pedals (shorter pedal interventions in portato and in function of phrasing); expansion of the dynamic sound pallet; sound relations (discant/bass):

- Playing of existing keyboard music and Small preludes and fugues (see representative repertoire list)

- Playing of obligatory song accompaniments: songs by Schubert, Mozart, Beethoven, etc. in a reduced form

2. Aspect of practical harmony: playing of letter schemes; elaboration of simple melodic accompaniments; score reduction (preferably from own repertoire); simple rhythmic and melodic improvisations on a chord scheme and/or based on musical forms/models; introductory exercises to transposing...
