The PBA autism directs and justifies his professional actions from (1) scientific knowledge about people with ASD in their context and within all life domains; (2) from international and current evolutions; and (3) from a inclusive and empowering paradigm.

The student situates the meaning of autism and autism-related terms in their historical context.
The student gives an overview of the most common methodologies to do diagnostics with regard to autism.
The student identifies the behavioral characteristics of autism

The student explains how the specific perception, perception and thinking of people with autism works

The PBA autism supports, guides and coaches people with autism and the relevant stakeholders in all contexts, always with a view to increasing the quality of life of the client/client system.
the student clarifies the meaning of autism related behavior to the environment
The PBA autism acts systematically in answering the complex support questions from people with autism and their stakeholders. He takes diversity and intercultural differences into account.
The student assigns the descriptive characteristics of autistic behavior to a standard explanatory model.
In a case, the student identifies similarities between autistic behavior and other disorders and / or limitations.
The student illustrates that overlapping behavioral characteristics of autism and other problems are based on different stimulus and information processing.
The PBA autism develops and strengthens his professional actions from a critical-reflective attitude and in a scientifically substantiated way with the aim of being able to offer quality and innovative support.
