Learning outcomes (list)

The student calculates the gear train of a gear box from a machine drawing.
The student enumerates all parts of a gear train from a practical example or a work piece drawing.
The student looks for data about machine parts in function of the calculation of the operating parameters.
The student looks for information about causes of failure of placing of mechanical engineering.
The student measures size and place tolerances with emphasis on the ISO passing system.
The student applies the proper safety measures and uses the proper PPE's in mechanical engineering machine constructive acts.
The student uses the drill press in a safe and sensible way.
The student describes the phenomenon of friction between surfaces, the kinds of friction and lubrication conditions.
The student formulates actions for early forms of wear and tear in bearings and transmissions by means of documentation.
The student describes the different types of lubrication, their properties and areas of appliance.
The student describes important machine parts and connection techniques and their application field and enumerates the characteristics.
The student prepares a drill press in consideration of a safe functioning and uses the proper PPE's.
The student selects the proper fit for an appliance.
