Learning outcomes (list)
The student works safely and accurately and within the given tolerances. |
The student constructs a cutter work piece with a milling machine (roughen, milling, drill, squared and parallel) and uses different cutters. |
The student outlines drill holes and uses the correct drill to, depending on the application, drill holes with a drill press and this according to the given tolerances (diameter, depth, x-y coordinates...) |
The student constructs with a lathe a rotating mechanism (longitudinal turning, stairs, external thread, cut off, drills, internal thread and serrate) . |
The student uses the welder in a safe and sensible way. |
The student selects the tools to use at mechanical machining operations. |
The student enumerates the uses of tension and design techniques (lathe, miller, drill, grinder, welder and sheet iron work). |
The student justifies the used welding technique by means of a work assignment. |
The student formulates a work piece drawing and work method for a turn-, cutter- and drill work-piece. |
The student prepares a lathe and milling machine in consideration of the safe functioning and uses the proper PPE. |
