Prerequisites

having finished at least 33 ects credits in the programme AND (previously registered for Workplace learning 1: exploration and preparation OR previously registered for Mechatronica / PLC) AND having passed, or having a tolerated mark for Elektriciteit AC / Elektrische machines AND (to be taken together with Werktuigbouwkunde / Basis toegepaste mechanica OR previously registered for Werktuigbouwkunde / Basis toegepaste mechanica).
Re-sit exam: not possible.
Possibility of tolerance: You have to pass this course unit (will never be tolerated).

Learning outcomes (list)

The student works with and under supervision of an experience expert on a complex electro-mechanical system.
The student correctly estimates mechanical base measurements and tests considering effective failure maintenance.
The student correctly estimates electric base measurements and tests considering effective failure maintenance.
The student systematically completes assembling and disassembling activities under the heading of periodical maintenance according to good practice and safety regulations by using outlines, drawings and work instructions.
The student works well-organized and structured within a reasonable term.
The student has insight in the rules, standardization and safety procedures and applies these.
The student has insight in the need of carrying the appropriated personal protective equipment.
The student sorts, on their own initiative, the hazardous waste according to the proper modalities.
The student uses his social skills to set up and stimulate a supportive network within the given professional context considering achieving an efficient and effective work result.
The student directs his or herself and takes responsibility within his or her own learning process regarding his or her personal growth in the professional context
The student adjusts themselves based on introspection.
The student reports on the results of the maintenance tasks in a way that the periodic maintenance plan possibly gets adjusted for curative failure management.
The student draws up RCA about simple disturbances.
