Learning outcomes (list)

10: working durably: Works with an eye on safety, durability and welfare and applies the relevant regulations and standardizations.
The student reproduces the different safety components which are used in industrial installations.
The student illustrates by means of examples the different mechanical and electric properties of wire and cable.
01: Design: Analyzes an IOT-assignment and considers, together with the client/user and/or colleagues-experts, one or more technical solutions. Determines and collects the necessary components.
The student defines tension, power and resistance.
The student describes the law of Coulomb.
The student defines the period, fequency, amplitude, average value and real value of sine waves.
The student explains the principle of magnetic induction.
The student substantiates the different components that are used in a switchgear.
The student explains the terms external net, cable, transformer, load, generator and motor.
The student explains the characteristics which are mentioned on fuses, automatons, power switches and differential switches.
The student executes a simple cable calculation.
The student can simplify an electric circuit.
The student can use and convert SI-units.
The student can work in conformity the AREI (= General Regulations for electric installations).
The student describes the construction of middle voltage and low voltage cables and explains the current carrying capacity.
02: Execution: Supports the IOT-developer by practically executing the IoT-assignment. Configures, optimalizes, programmes and installs IoT-systems.
The student formulates the electric behaviour of a distribution network based on properties and tension levels.
04: Maintenance: Executes maintenance on existing IoT-systems and changes, replaces or fixes if necessary.
The student classifies the different nets by means of their function and explains the relation between the function and the tension level.
