06DD: International Trade Transactions and European Union Trade and Customs Policy: informs and advises on international trade transactions and settles them based on an understanding of international trade techniques and in accordance with applicable regulations, has basic understanding of European Union trade and customs policies and monitors recent developments.
The student describes the formalities related to the (inter)national movement of goods (legal provisions on customs, excise, VAT, import duties, taxes, guarantees
The student will use the Community Customs Code
08DD: Customs Declarations: prepares customs declarations, collects required documents, submits, processes and follows up on declarations.
The student works with systems of computerized declaration
The student provides assistance in the application of various documents of international trade in the context of declaration, inspection, ...of goods
The student checks the declarations
The student will handle customs technical files
The student defines basic concepts of legal procedures
The student uses the calculation rules of indirect taxes relevant to customs
The student explains the procedures and conditions of a license/certificate
