Learning outcomes (list)

The student applies simple measurement methods on the grounds.
The student processes measurement data.
The student measures a building/ infrastructure.
The student applies and displays the markings of the works.
The student names the basic concepts of geodesy.
The student explains the anatomy, the general functioning and the use of the surveying instruments.
The student critically examines the measured distance.
The student defines the instrumental errors of surveying instruments and eliminates these errors with the appropriate measurement techniques/methods.
The student explains the surveying basic measurement techniques with their field of application.
The student calculates the measurements for different expanding methods.
The student makes the necessary mathematical calculations regarding trigonometry to process and interpret the terrain data and surveying techniques.
The student connects a foundation for a detail measurement to a reference system.
The student processes measurement data locally or in an imposed reference system.
The student describes the different commonly used measurement techniques, typical to yard measurement, having an eye for accuracy and sources of errors.
The student works with simple topographic measuring equipment.
