previously registered for Excel and Statistics OR previously registered for Science and Technology.

Learning outcomes (list)

ANALYSIS
The student can analyse the data at different parts of a research.
The student analyses in Excel statistical data, can measure variation in a proces and sets up a measuring system analysis (gage R&R).
CONCEPTUAL THINKING
The student sets up a research plan, starting from a casus at which different research methods from a formulation of a problem are being tested.
The student uses basic concepts of Lean Six Sigma and understands different phases (DMAIC) in improvement projects.
The student uses the basic concepts of statistics in support of Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
The student can analyse, report and make the proper conclusions of the collected research data. They apply the proper statistical methods for this.
OPERATIONALIZE
The student applies the various phases and steps of a research strategy and is able to analyse and report collected data.
The student explains the tools (brainstorm, fishbone model, poka yoka, ...) of Lean Six Sigma and implements these properly.
