Short description

This course is part of the Bachelor programme ‘Graphic and Digital Media’ and participation can only be finalised in september after an intake session with the lecturer.
During this course, we’ll cover some advanced topics in InDesign to raise your productivity. Since you’re familiar with creating documents for print and translating them into interactive PDF’s, you will start creating more advanced E-publications after setting the bounderies of what an E-publication might be. Since creating a press-ready PDF has no secrets for you anymore, we will quickly jump into preflighting and certifying PDF’s.

Learning outcomes (list)

applies the knowledge of the English language in a learning context, both oral and written
enters the correct premedia control and makes corrections where possible
automates publishing wherever possible (through scripting, GREP, data merging, ...)
realises the accurate digital publications for different purposes
is able to prepare documents for different forms of e-publication
knows the different possibilities of digital publications, advantages and disadvantages and technical specifications
