Learning outcomes (list)

1.4 The student makes music in an artistic project in a creative manner.
The student plays prima vista from different styles, genres and notations (solo as well as accompanying singers, other instrumentalists, etc...).
The student can independently perform reduction/particle playing from different styles and genres (e.g. string quartet, choir, orchestra, etc.).
The student can independently perform transposition from different styles and genres (using recurring chord progressions - from chaconne to jazz standard).
The student can improvise independently from different styles using modes, chord progressions, motivic processing, free from style clichés, free in combination with another discipline (dance, theatre).
The student reads calculated (and uncoded) basses from literature (= real music).
The student can independently play a sonata together with a melody instrument, without having to write out the grade
2.3 The student can process musical structures through analysis and interpretation.
The student can independently apply his acquired insight in music (historical) context to and combine it with skills such as prima vista playing, reduction, transposition and improvisation within the Accordion practice.
The student independently links the analytical skills to the subject content and skills within the Accordion practice. 
The student applies the acquired skills and knowledge in his daily music practice and study.
The student deepens his knowledge and understanding of more complex forms and structures within the components prima vista, reduction, transposition and improvisation, with an emphasis on different genres and techniques.

Read the Vademecum Keyboard instrument
Scales, cadences, prima vista playing, accompaniment techniques, accompaniment styles, improvisation, folk song paraphrases, transposition, orchestral reductions, basso continuo playing, chorales, instrument knowledge, project work

Study material (text): Mandatory

No course material, teacher will bring the material to every lesson

The instrument must meet the following requirements:
- double 8 feet flat tuned / double 8 feet floating tuned;
- with M II / with M II and M III;
- button instrument recommended (piano keyboard is allowed);
- use of several instruments (flat and floating) is recommended.
