Short description

Business Process Management and Business Architecture are subjects that are quickly gaining importance in organisations. How do organisations execute processes? What can be improved? How do you help companies to take control over what they do on a daily basis?

These subjects are covered in this course, where the widely accepted industry standard BPMN as a process-modelling language is the central focus-point.

Prerequisite competencies (text)

No specific competences are required to enroll in this course. The students need a sufficient understanding of English terminology, related to the subject (Business Terminology).

Course content

In this course the student acquires the necessary skills and insights to model Business Processes, using the BPMN (Business Process Model & Notation) 2.0 standard. The course aims to facilitate the student in analyzing and modelling basic and more complex models, in order to allow process analysis for operational optimization and in the scope of the software development lyfecycle, where the Business Process oriented Business Analysis will aid in generating more profound and clear business requirements.
