Learning outcomes (list)

The associate works in a socially responsible, sustainable and qualitative way and applies safety guidelines and regulations in the domain of HVAC systems.
The student independently looks up safety regulations of control valves and actuators and respects these when commissioning.
The associate advises and informs users, and proposes improvements regarding use and function.
The student makes a motivated definition of selection (sort and type of measuring system) based on the demands and takes on a measuring sensor in conformity with the specification of the manufacturer.
The associate performs - independently and under supervision - the installation, activation and adjustment of climatisation systems in the domain of HVAC systems in a residential and non-residential context.
The student recognizes the measuring systems or the technology and explains the working of it in regard to the functionality in the control loop.
The student explains the functionality of the composed parts of control valves based on technical drawings of catalogue data.
The student explains specific terminological terms that characterize the technical properties of valves.
The student independently looks up the installation conditions of control valves and actuators and respects these at the commissioning.
The associate localises, identifies and diagnoses malfunctions/defects of climatisation systems, taking into account contextual elements and/or maintenance history in a residential and non-residential context.
The student collects and analyses the most important parameters of measuring systems in consideration of maintenance.
The student calibrates various measuring sensors, looks for technical errors and repairs them.
The associate takes into account specific risks of dangerous products and circumstances inherent to the field of climatisation and acts accordingly.
