Learning outcomes (list)

OLR FV 1.0 - The bachelor BM/FV has insights in the processes and rules inside the finance and insurance sector, in general corporate organisational processes as well as in their interconnection, and can consequently apply these insights in a broad, globalised and changing (inter)national context.
You will discuss the various investment options available to a retail client.
You will discuss the safety, liquidity, tax implications and costs for the various investment options.
You will discuss how a retail client should construct an investment portfolio.
You calculate values of financial products on the stock market and markets.
You calculate the costs associated with trading investment products.
You apply economic, technical and fundamental analysis to equities.
You provide advice with regard to the composition of a portfolio based on the advantages and disadvantages of each product in function of the customer's needs and risk profile.
You argue which form of investment is useful in certain economic conditions.
You provide advice on a fund based on a fund analysis.
OLR FV 7.1 - The bachelor BM/FV can communicate professionally, in spoken and written Dutch, using jargon particular to the trade.
You will write a concise report on complex issues, highlighting the points that are important to you.
You communicate according to the conventions of the Dutch language (spelling, grammatically correct sentences, word usage).
