Course content

Research in the arts is situated as a recent domain of research in development. Insight is offered in a wide variety of methodologies of artistic research and in the recent debate about artistic research. Students also are offered examples of basic methodologies of research.

After the introductory lessons this seminar invites artists - regardless of discipline - to present in word and image their practice, methodologies and artistic research. This happens through the public series of lectures "Academy Guests". The lectures are recorded in audio or video, and placed online to be accessible for students and the wider audience.
