Learning outcomes (list)

BA1 - The student has the necessary artistic skills to design and/or realize a personal project within the broad spectrum of the visual arts under supervision.
The student can analyze an assignment at an advanced level and develop a creative concept with an innovative vision through a consistent and thorough work process.
The student can creatively process the results of his research of source material in his own artistic research process at an advanced level.
The student is able to give a contemporary visual interpretation to an assignment within a predetermined time frame.
BA3 - The student knows about and understands the social, cultural, artistic, historical and international context of the visual arts and artistic praxis, and continues to develop this knowledge and understanding.
The student can independently process various forms of information about artistic topicality into an up-to-date frame of reference.
The student is aware of contemporary artistic developments and their societal context.
The student can distinguish current and social themes and developments and approach them in a critical way.
BA4 - The student develops and sharpens his/her critical and investigative attitude towards designs and/or realizations that arise from visual experiments and research, emotion and intuition.
The student can research, analyze and situate his sources at an advanced level.
BA5 - When developing his/her personal visual language the students starts from a searching and reflective attitude when developing one's own visual language.
The student is able process comments from his teachers in his learning process.
The student has developed his own visual language that is demonstrable in the artistic diary.
BA6 - The student understands the characteristics of his/her personal designs and/or realizations and is able to communicate about this in an appropriate manner.

Course content

A further study in depth from the obtained knowledge and insights from Ba1 with attention to the development of vision, concept and process-oriented approach (research process).

The student takes part in projects that are part of the curriculum: project weeks, exhibitions, study trips, lectures and other projects relevant to the programme.
