Learning outcomes (list)

BA7 - The student is able to organize his/her artistic project in consultation with others.
The student can carry out assignments from various clients, taking into account the various needs and obligations imposed on him/her by the theater medium, and without renouncing his/her personal style and content;
The student can work independently.
The student is able to function autonomously as a designer, or to work as an assistant with a costume designer.

Course content

Students learn new techniques and skills to work on projects in collaboration.

In cooperation with various performing arts programmes (theatre, dance etc.) and art departments, students develop a concept and design costumes.

Students learn how to work out a project in cooperation with each other in function of timing, budget, target group, setting and how to take into account other organisational aspects.

-The students learn to search for concepts and related design in a group.
-students create an autonomous project with an abstract concept as its starting point, which may or may not be linked to personal life experiences or events in their immediate environment, making use of theatre semiotics and research into the use and conversion of materials
