Prerequisite competencies (text)

To have passed the Print making studio course of BA2 or equivalent.

Learning outcomes (list)

BA1 - The student has the necessary artistic skills to design and/or realize a personal project within the broad spectrum of the visual arts under supervision.
The student can link conceptual to formal aspects and testifies while doing that of specific technical professional knowledge and skills at an advanced level.
The student succeeds in achieving a conceptually supported graphic expression and can incorporate texture, structure, tonality and color in his/her work in an artistic way.
The student has developed his personality, originality and artistic maturity to an advanced level.
BA2 - The student has the necessary knowledge, skills and insights regarding material, form, action, concepts, function and contents of the chosen medi
The student masters the composition techniques and other creative processes that were discussed during the lessons on an advanced level.

The student can present his / her work in an artistic and conceptually motivated way.

Course content

During the first period the student is assisted in his research to develop his personal project within the limits of the chosen skill. The student has to come to a unity within his image creation. At the end of the first semester, the student has formed a claire view on his project which he will create during the second semester. This preview will be presented at the mid-term evaluation.
