- The student can compile a documentation folder that clearly displays their own source material, relevant references, and research process.

Learning outcomes (list)

BA3 - The student knows about and understands the social, cultural, artistic, historical and international context of the visual arts and artistic praxis, and continues to develop this knowledge and understanding.
The student can artistically process and name relevant environmental factors.
BA4 - The student develops and sharpens his/her critical and investigative attitude towards designs and/or realizations that arise from visual experiments and research, emotion and intuition.
The student can process information sources (books, magazines, websites, newspapers, photos, experiences, exhibitions, films and all sorts of artistic matters) in a meaningful and personal way in drawings and disorganization drawings.
The student can consult and interpret different sources (books, magazines, newspapers, photos, experiences, exhibitions, films and all sorts of artistic matters) that are necessary for the artistic work.
The student can support his/her three-dimensional work with two-dimensional research-oriented and artistic notes.
BA6 - The student understands the characteristics of his/her personal designs and/or realizations and is able to communicate about this in an appropriate manner.
The student can demonstrate the connections between his own artistic practice and historical and or contemporary artistic examples in a portfolio, using digital media.

Course content

- The student compiles a personal portfolio about all parts of his/her artistic and research process (both substantive and materialistic), the student processes the source material and references in a unique way. For this the student uses Photoshop and Indesign.

- The student presents his/her research track to the other students.

- The student enters into a discussion with his fellow students about the content of the artistic trajectory.

- The student uses and analyses their own source material to deepen their own artistic concept.

- Source material is discussed and analysed.
