1.1 The student masters the representative repertoire for his or her discipline.
The student is capable of performing standard chord progressions, such as blues, standards, rhythm changes, etc.
1.2 The student can make music in various styles.
The student is capable of performing simple chord progressions in a stylistically correct manner.
1.4 The student is musically creative.
The student uses techniques to arrive at an interpretation of the text.
The student is capable of making tonal improvisations on standard chord schemes.
The student knows basic scat syllables.
2.1 The student masters the musical parameters and structures.
The student masters techniques required to improve his or her musical skills (tempo, timing, intonation, sound, development of motifs, phrasing, form, listening skills).
2.2 The student makes progress through independent study.
The student can form a study plan and follow it.
2.4 The student masters the correct playing techniques and postures.
The student uses techniques to improve his or her technical vocal skills (articulation, pronunciation of foreign languages, healthy use of the voice, breath support etc).
