Learning outcomes (list)

1.4 The student is musically creative.
The student is able to improvise on a tonal basis on simple chord progressions.
The student experiments with the use of basic scat syllables.
2.2 The student makes progress through independent study.
The student uses techniques in order to make an efficient study plan and follow it.
2.3 The student reads, analyses, writes and interprets music.
The student can sing a simple piece at sight and solo on it.
The student can make transcriptions of simple vocal and instrumental solos and analyze them roughly
2.4 The student masters the correct playing techniques and postures.
The student uses techniques to improve his or her intonation.
The student can sing bass notes and guide tone lines on simple chord progressions.
The student can sing and implement simple licks.
The student can perform technical studies (vocalises etc).

The student can play scales and arpeggios: major, natural minor, harmonic minor, and melodic minor in all intervals and triads/four-note chords.
The student can make transcriptions of simple vocal and instrumental solos by auditory assimilation and reproduction.
