The student can deliver a personal interpretation of a simple orchestral piece.

The student can clearly explain his or her interpretation of a piece using the musical parameters.
2.3 The student reads, analyses, writes and interprets music.
The student can dissect and analyse the musical aspects and conducting technique.
2.4 The student masters the correct playing techniques and postures.
The student masters basic conducting techniques in a simple sequence of similar time signatures.
The student knows how to play dynamic nuances with the left hand.
4.1 The student has knowledge of the broader cultural and (musical) historical context.
The student shows understanding of the different vocal timbres and vocal techniques (choir conducting) or instrument-technical qualities (brass band and orchestra conducting)
