Learning outcomes (list)

1.1 The student independently broadens and explores repertoire related to his or her discipline.
The student develops a broad repertoire knowledge through in-depth study of instrumental duo performance, vocal accompaniment (with a crucial focus on language and coaching skills), dance/ballet accompaniment and chamber music.
The student can use characteristics of style (tailored to the specifics and repertoire of the instrument) when improvising. The styles can be: atonality, extended tonality, modality, jazz, tonal.
1.2 The student masters the internationally used stylistic performance practice standards.
The student can adapt fluently to other languages and musical styles in the relevant repertoire.
1.3 The student can take on a leading role in an ensemble.
The student shows insight in improvisation and practical harmony and knows how to implement it.
2.1 The student has thoroughly mastered musical parameters and structures.
The student knows the parameters and structures of the specific repertoire and knows how to implement them in a flexible way.
2.3 The student can process musical structures through analysis and interpretation.
The student is able to make and play piano reductions from orchestra full score.
2.5m The student is aware of the technical and technological developments within his or her discipline.
The student has acquired deep knowledge of the technical aspects of the accompaniment and applies this to the relevant repertoire.
3.1 The student can employ his or her social and communication skills in order to take on a leadership role.
The student shows an attitude of usefulness and takes on a supportive role that is essential for collaborative pianists throughout their careers.
The student works in a team (with other artistic disciplines) on the creation of his or her own artistic concept.
The student is actively involved in the musical life of the Conservatoire, collaborating with students and ensembles in all departments.
The student knows how to play under the baton and and accompanies the conducting class during their lessons and exams.
